    Missing key feature

    Received this as a warranty replacement for a faulty Thread bulb which I was grateful for.

    The bulb is Matter opposed to Thread which I thought might be more reliable but there are some trade offs: Matter doesn’t support Apple’s HomeKit enabled adaptive lighting.

    It throws it out of sync with other bulbs in the area and the come home automation doesn’t seem to agree with it either- it always turns on to a low purple glow and there doesn’t appear to be a way to fix this meaning we're constantly having to go into the app and adjust.

    Worse compatibility than the first gen with Apple home

    The first gen bulb I ordered a warranty replacement for integrated much better with HomeKit than the new matter one
